Good Friday Funnies

I was fortunate enough to see this comic strip in the paper, in 2004.

I clipped it out and kept it, because it seemed to capture the Truth in such a simple way.

I HATE THE TERM 'GOOD FRIDAY.'

WHY?

MY LORD WAS HANGED ON A TREE THAT DAY.

IF YOU WERE GOING TO BE HANGED ON THAT DAY, AND HE VOLUNTEERED TO TAKE YOUR PLACE, HOW WOULD YOU FEEL?

This is a short post, since I believe the image conveys what needs to be said.

Under all of the images of bunnies, candy, colorful eggs, plastic grass and whatever else seems to have been raised up as the representation of Easter, I hope that all who read this will find a Loving God and a Merciful Savior.
